Cancer & Blood Waitroom Refurbishment

This was a project undertaken with facilities at Auckland DHB, and is a case study in how the look and feel guideline would work in practice. 

Through workshops, user engagement exercises and internal design activity, the Lab provided guidance and recommendations for refurbishing the high traffic waiting area for Cancer and Blood Service patients and their families. 

Building on existing patient engagement research, patients and families had the opportunity to vote
and provide feedback on design concepts throughout the process.
