MS Guide

The multiple sclerosis (MS) guide helps patients recognise their relapses, making the reporting system easier to enhance care.
MS symptoms are visually presented using icons, structuring the relapse content into three separate categories.
A greater number of MS patients have now reported their relapse symptoms and have gone on to access expert clinical assessment and effective disease modifying medications.

The symptom guide was developed with and piloted by people with MS and is now used extensively across Australasia. This information system could be extended and applied to any healthcare guide, and has potential to be used in both print and digital interactive media.
